Amin Aghaie is a distinguished violinist and ethnomusicologist with over 28 years of international teaching and performance experience across Iran, Eastern and Western Europe, and Canada. Renowned for his deep cultural insight and technical mastery, Amin brings a rare combination of scholarly rigor and artistic expression to every aspect of his work.

He is a graduate of the prestigious Tchaikovsky National Conservatory and holds a Master’s degree in Violin Pedagogy from Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Ethnomusicology, with a focus on the intersections of traditional and contemporary musical practices.

Amin is a dedicated university lecturer and active researcher, contributing to the global dialogue on music, culture, and identity. His areas of expertise include traditional Persian music, cross-cultural pedagogy, and music education.
