Program Information

The piano is a highly sought-after instrument, and at Melorin Music School, we offer lessons for students of all ages, skill levels, and musical interests. Our experienced and diverse teaching staff, all holding bachelor's or master's degrees in piano, music performance, or pedagogy, are dedicated to providing personalized instruction.

Lesson Structure

Each piano lesson is a one-on-one session between a teacher and a student, available in 30, 45, or 60-minute increments. Parents are welcome to attend their child's sessions.

Goals

Our goal is to nurture students to reach their highest musical potential through private lessons. Establishing a strong technical foundation and selecting an appropriate repertoire is crucial. Our skilled faculty tailor their teaching methods to suit each student’s needs.

For beginners, lessons start with basics like identifying keys, reading music, understanding rhythm, and progressing from one-hand to two-hand pieces. As students advance, they will learn technical skills such as exercises, scales, and chords, applying these to increasingly complex pieces. Advanced students will refine their techniques and repertoire further.

Our piano classes cover:

  • Note reading and recognition
  • Counting and rhythm reading
  • Technique (scales, arpeggios)
  • Sight reading
  • Rudiments of music theory
  • Memorization
  • Ear training

Melorin Music School offers private piano lessons for all levels and ages. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player, we cater to your needs. We take special care to help young beginners start their musical journey correctly and encourage adults to pursue piano learning as well. Our flexible teaching styles and levels ensure every student progresses at their own pace.
