Goals

Our goal is to help students reach their highest musical potential through private lessons. Building a strong foundation in technique and selecting the right repertoire is crucial. Beginners start with basics like holding the guitar, finger placement, frets, strumming, rhythm, basic chords, and simple songs. Advanced students refine their technique with major and minor scales, bass runs, and significant repertoire.

Our guitar classes cover:

  • Note reading and recognition
  • Counting and rhythm reading
  • Technique (scales, arpeggios, trills, dynamics)
  • Sight-reading
  • Music theory basics
  • Memorization
  • Ear training

Repertoire

Choosing the right repertoire is key to musical development. Our coaches tailor lesson plans while following proven curriculum principles. We work on repertoire in categories like etudes and studies, unaccompanied works, variations, and short pieces. Students learn a variety of pieces from different musical eras.
