The kamancheh is a four-stringed Persian bowed instrument, rich in character and tradition. With its haunting, expressive tone and deep cultural roots, it has long been a central voice in Iranian, Azerbaijani, Kurdish, Armenian, and Turkish music. Played upright with a spike at its base, the kamancheh is known as the “little bow” and can beautifully imitate the nuances of the human voice.
At Melorin Music School, we offer personalized kamancheh lessons that explore technique, expression, and repertoire—available both in-person in Richmond Hill and online across the GTA and beyond.
Our kamancheh lessons are offered as private, one-on-one instruction, available in:
30-minute
45-minute
60-minute sessions
Lessons are held at our Richmond Hill Music School or online. Parents are welcome to attend children’s sessions to stay involved and engaged in their child’s progress.
