Kimia Sheidaei is a versatile vocalist and flutist with extensive experience as both a performer and educator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Flute Performance from the Art University of Tehran and has spent over a decade honing her craft through solo, ensemble, and orchestral performances.
As a flute instructor, Kimia has taught students of all ages and skill levels, blending strong technical training with creativity and expression. Her background includes years of performing with the Tehran Symphonic Orchestra, youth orchestras, and chamber ensembles, where she presented works by Mozart, Beethoven, Poulenc, and Barber.
Alongside her instrumental expertise, Kimia is also an accomplished vocal coach and performer. She has trained and mentored singers through private lessons and online courses, guiding students in vocal technique, musicality, and performance confidence. Her own singing career spans diverse genres, with performances in jazz, pop, and Middle Eastern folk at venues such as Western University, the Lawrence Community Church, and the Twist Gallery.
Kimia’s passion lies in inspiring her students to discover their unique voice, whether through singing or flute playing, while building strong foundations in theory, solfege, and musicianship. Her teaching style is inclusive, supportive, and tailored to nurture both skill and creativity.
At Melorin Music School, Kimia brings her dual expertise in voice and flute to help students develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love for music.
