Deniz Tafaghodi, the founder of Zerone Duo, is an accomplished pianist and sound artist based in Toronto. Her musical journey began at the tender age of six with a focus on classical piano. Deniz's dedication and passion for music led her to earn a degree in Music (Piano Performance) from the Art & Architecture University of Tehran.

Since 2016, Deniz has become an active collaborator in a wide range of creative mediums. Her work includes live electro-acoustic and audiovisual performances, sound installations, sound design for theaters, contemporary dance performances, and computer games. Her innovative approach and versatile talent have made her a prominent figure in the contemporary music and sound art scene.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Deniz is highly qualified to teach and engage students of all ages and levels. Her wonderful rapport with children and her ability to inspire and nurture their musical talents make her an exceptional educator. Her approach to teaching is both patient and enthusiastic, fostering a love for music in her students.

Deniz's contributions to the arts extend beyond performance. As a sound artist, she has a unique ability to blend traditional piano techniques with modern electronic elements, creating immersive auditory experiences.
