Deniz Tafaghodi, the founder of Zerone Duo, is an accomplished pianist and sound artist based in Toronto. Her musical journey began at the tender age of six with a focus on classical piano. Deniz's dedication and passion for music led her to earn a degree in Music (Piano Performance) from the Art & Architecture University of Tehran.

Since 2016, Deniz has become an active collaborator in a wide range of creative mediums. Her work includes live electro-acoustic and audiovisual performances, sound installations, sound design for theaters, contemporary dance performances, and computer games.
