Renowned ney player and teacher Shaho Andalibi was born in Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan Province, Iran. Coming from a distinguished musical family, he began learning Kurdish music, melodies, and modes at the tender age of 4. His late father, Iraj Andalibi, and his cousin, Jamshid Andalibi, were pivotal influences in his early musical education.

Shaho Andalibi has not only mastered the ney but also pursued extensive studies in singing under the tutelage of the legendary Maestro Mohammad Reza Shajarian. Additionally, he honed his skills in improvisation and group performance with the esteemed Maestro Majid Derakhshani. Through his dedication and talent, Shaho has become a prominent figure in the world of Persian and Kurdish music, known for his expressive performances and deep understanding of traditional music.
